Snow Pusher That AnglesIf you want to become the best at what you do, you have to practice, have the right equipment resources, and have perseverance. Snow removal contractors that use heavy duty KAGE snow plow equipment have the right resources at their fingertips. Furthermore, practicing is FUN, because the right equipment makes it easy. A snow pusher that can angle makes the practice you do fun. Yes, even when you are practicing at 3:00 in the morning! Until the KAGE products were invented in 2011, snow plowing was drudgery because it was slow and repetitive. Now with a plow and pusher combination that angles from the cab of your skid steer, you can become more efficient, more productive, and do a cleaner job all in less time.

Snow Pusher

A snow pusher is a brute-force technique to hog large amounts of snow straight forward. A fixed snow pusher can mount to a variety of drive vehicles, such as skid steers, articulated wheel loaders, tractors, telehandlers, backhoe loaders, compact wheel loaders, etc. Typically the heavier the drive vehicle is, the larger your pusher box can be. The advantage of a pusher box, or “snow pusher” is that they can contain large quantities of snow all the way down to the end of your run. When you are at the end of the run, you simply lift up the boom and the snow falls out into a pile.

Power Angle Plow

A power angle plow is an efficient way to move snow from a paved surface where you can displace the snow off to the side. This tool is slightly more versatile than the fixed snow pusher, because it can move the snow off to one side or the other. It can also back drag snow away from the front of doors and other obstacles. It also has limited pushing capabilities. The disadvantage to an angle plow by itself is that it does not have the ability to scoop, or contain the large quantity of snow straight forward. Angle plows have been in use to plow city roads since the mid 1800’s. Angle plows were the first great invention in the effort to increase productivity of snow removal and safety in snow cities. https://jalopnik.com/5719723/from-shovels-to-plows-a-history-of-snow-removal

Snow Pusher That Can Angle

The KAGE snow plow box system is a heavy duty attachment for skid steers, wheel loaders, tractors, etc. that can angle plow, and containment plow. It is two tools in one. The best part is that the operator can switch from angle plowing to angle pushing in seconds, without having to leave the cab. Not only does this attachment boast the best of both worlds, it is also simple. It does not use extra hydraulics, pins, or hinges to attach or detach the snow pusher from the snow plow. The operator is able to remove the snow box by simply raising the boom and tilting the snow plow forward until the cam lock brackets of the KAGE box become detached from the brackets on the plow. In order to attach the box, the operator simply raises the skid steer boom and tilts forward to an elevation where he can see the cam lock brackets of the plow. He then drives forward underneath the hooks of the SNOW KAGE box, lifts, and tilts the plow back into the normal plowing position.
